I had such an amazing time with Anna from the trial to the big day. The weather was against us but the hair stayed looking fabulous. She looked absolutely stunning and I felt blessed to be involved.
How amazingly proud am I today. The photo shoot that I was lucky to be involved in has been published in Your Sussex Wedding Magazine. To find a magazine on the shelf in WHSmith and my work be in it is an amazing feeling. Not only is my work featured in it but I have a whole page close up of the hairstyling that I did for the day. I really need to thank Naomi from Wedding Tattle who worked tirelessly to make her incredible vision a reality. I think you will agree the photos speak for themselves. Thank you also to County Wedding Magazines, Alex Rickard Photography, Johanna Hehir, Flowercraft Lindfield, Sapphire pink, Amy Shadbolt Model, Co-Ordination Catering Hire Limited, Joey Aylward, My Fayre Favourite, The Garden Chef, Spotlight Management Group and Roses All Over
How amazing... This morning I got to see my name in lights.. well not literally but it was very exciting to see that I have been added to Sapphire Pinks website as their Hair Stylist. I am really looking forward to working with the lovely Bridgette and her team, she is an amazingly talented makeup artist. Please have a look by clicking the following link.
www.sapphirepink.co.uk/about-us/ On Sunday the 10th May I was lucky enough to be involved in an amazing photo shoot at Chiddinglye Estate in Sussex alongside some very talented people. The shoot was to showcase Johanna Hehirs latest gown which was shipped all the way from New Zealand for the day. I just want to take a minute to thank everyone involved, it was an amazing day which took months of planning by Naomi from Wedding Tattle. This is why I love my job so much. I think we all did Johanna Hehirs latest Gown justice. Alex Rickard Photography, The Garden Chef. Bridal Beauty Insider, My Fayre Favourite, Co-Ordination Catering Hire Limited, Roses All Over and the gorgeous models Amy Shadbolt Model and Joey Aylward from Spotlight Management Group.
My favourite work. Vintage 1940's Victory Rolls and how incredible do these look on Lulu, all dressed and ready to go to London's Horseguard Parade for the BBC's VE Day 70th anniversary concert.
Today I have been working with Emma on a trial for her wedding. As you can see by the photo below she has the most amazing hair that lends itself to this romantic loose curled style. She was so pleased with it that she left it in and went off to meet her friend for lunch.
This gorgeous young chap Arlo had researched his new style and when I arrived he had his mums Ipad at the ready with a picture. Luckily for me his mum is Natasha Merchant, one of London's top Headshot photographers so I got these amazing pictures, hence why I couldn't resist putting them on here. We had to nick a bit of dads wax to complete the look. All this at the age of 7. Eeeeek. Natasha text me later in the evening with this...... The best testimonial ever and why I love my job so much.
"Arlo LOVING his new haircut. Just caught his staring at himself in the mirror. Thanks hun". Bless him. What a week.... I have spent so much time cutting and colouring that I have only had time to do one hair up. Turns out my client is an old school friend that I haven't seen for too many years. Here is Jules all dressed and ready for her 1950's themed party. Cant wait to see you and Tamsin next week. #oldfriendsarethebest #bestjobintheworld
